The PIPC held the 'First Personal Information Protection Day' on September 30 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of enactment of the Personal Information Protection Act. The event was held on Metaverse, a virtual world, due to the continued spread of COVID-19, and was broadcast live on the PIPC's YouTube channel.
