Personal Information Protection Commission

The PlPC held its 6th plenary session on April 13 to deliberate and decide on a 12 million KRW-fine for two businesses that store images taken by thermal imaging cameras without the consent of the data subject and for two businesses who have not informed the reason for refusal regarding access to their own personal information. And also a total of 45 million KRW fine is imposed on six businesses for the violations of personal information protection laws.
